Key was my third condo software innovation. With two successful condo software products in Conduit and Nexus, I decided that those products were the icing, but I was missing the cake. After much thought, I decided to build an accounting software from scratch for the condo industry.

I worked very closely with industry leaders to build software that replicated what condo accountants did on a daily basis while bringing new efficiencies that only software could bring.

Key was adopted with careful deliberation from clients as it’s arguably the most important aspect of condo management. We slowly won over clients and started beating out larger and more established companies that also provided condo accounting software.

Today, Key is used in 20% of all Ontario condominiums.

Key, was later repackaged as Shiftsuite Accounting to follow the new marketing initiative of using Shiftsuite as the master brand.
